- Active Shooter Response
November 30, 2017
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Active shooter and spree killer events aren’t new, but the frequency of them has increased over the past few years. We have no need to be paranoid about them, but we, our loved ones, or employees should be educated about them and how to keep ourselves safe during them if we end up in one of these unfortunate events.
Join us for a 4 hour active shooter seminar. We’ll cover the fundamentals of what it takes to prepare, how to survive during the event, and how to give medical care. The entire course will end with scenarios with trained role players.
The vast majority of these scenarios are over within 10-15 minutes. That is a very small window and compared to an average Police response time of 5-10 minutes (depending on your city) it’s our jobs to be prepared. In situations like this, the everyday citizens that find themselves in the middle of this are the true first responders. That means you.
This course is hands on and is comprised of a mixture of lecture and actual training.
