The Houses of Worship Live-Fire course is designed to help prepare volunteer or paid members of a house of worship safety team, or other responsible citizens who are authorized to carry in a place of worship, for a forced armed response to an active shooter threat.
This course is one or two full days of intense training, teaching and practice. The course may cover the following topics:
- Fundamentals of Defensive Shooting
- The Balance of Speed & Precision
- The Emergency Reload
- Realistic Training for Multiple Target Engagement
- One Handed & Weak Handed Shooting
- Cover and Concealment
- Shooting in Crowded Environments
- Extreme Precision and Unreasonable Distances
- Emergency Medical Response
- The Aftermath of an Armed Response
This defensive shooting training course is designed to help you develop fundamental skills that could be applied during a worse-case active shooter event that takes place on the property of a place of worship.
Students will fire about 400 rounds during a 1-day course or 800 during a two day course.
